Hard Chrome Plating Training Course Book
Hard chrome plating is one of the trickiest metal finishing processes to master. There are many possible pitfalls. But if you learn the fundamentals, and learn how to apply them to your work, you will be well on your way to being a skilled hard chrome plater and producing quality parts. This 167 page book is an innovative method of learning the science and art of hard chrome plating. This book, written by a group of national experts, will not only teach you the details of hard chrome plating, it will also serve as a coveted reference book for many years to come.

Hard Chrome Plating Training Online Course
The Hard Chrome Plating Training Course book is just the beginning – complementing it is an interactive digital training course developed to enhance your learning experience and track your progress toward complete understanding of Hard Chrome plating. Featuring over three hours of original art, animations, and plating shop video, the online course closely follows the book and also includes much information beyond what's found in the text.

Plating Shop Troubleshooter
The Plating Shop Troubleshooter was developed to help platers (both novice and more seasoned) trouble shoot potential quality issues and quickly identify solutions to correct the plating process to correct the cause of the problem. The Troubleshooter was designed based on the best knowledge of plating professionals in both commercial and defense industries.

Surface Area and Current Density Calculator
Current density strongly influences the disposition rate, plating adherence and plating quality of a part to be plated. It varies over the surface of a part depending on its geometry. What is it and how do you calculate it? This self-paced course walks you through the theory and sets up examples of how to calculate it. This is followed by a series of components of which you will be able to interactively calculate both surface area and current density. There is no better way to learn than by doing. A subscription is valid for one learner, and lasts for six weeks.

Pollution Prevention and Control Technologies for Plating Operations
Second Edition, March 2009

The most widely referenced book on this subject. The original text was published in 1994 and it is commonly referred to as the Bluebook. This second edition contains important updates, which are contained in Section 1. In the original Bluebook, technical information is arranged in sections covering specific topic areas, such as waste reduction, chemical recovery, and bath maintenance. Information on each of the major plating processes (nickel, copper, hard chrome, anodizing etc.) is dispersed throughout the technology discussions. In the new Section 1, the order has been rearranged. Each plating process is now discussed fully in a sub-section of its own. These discussions include new data, case studies, and technology insights.
